GPS Framework Data Lead - Open to flexibility

The GPS Framework Data Lead will be part of the CBS Framework Management Team (FMT) who support GPS (Government and Public Sector) across all service lines. The Data Lead will report into the FMT Manager and support the Framework Data Analysts (two roles) with relevant framework management activities. As a Framework Data Lead you will be expected to perform some or all of the core responsibilities detailed below, contributing to the Framework Management Team’s priorities and objectives.

Core Responsibilities

Support the FMT Manager in activities listed below;

  • Provide support to the FMT Manager in chasing and collating outstanding information for the monthly Management Information report for Crown Commercial Services
  • Promotes best practice of the ConsultancyONE Framework across all Service Lines in UK&I, ensuring new processes, tools and reporting methods are understood and utilised
  • Manage the portals, where Government tenders are issued and proposals submitted
  • Issue tenders to the relevant parties in a timely manner
  • Review and update the Look-up table regularly to ensure the correct people are informed when tenders are received
  • Oversee the management of the GPS shared mailbox (Catalist mailbox), supporting the Data Analysts when required and reporting any issues to the FMT Manager

Personal qualities

  • Excellent leadership skills are required, with the experience/ability to coach more junior members of staff
  • A background and experience in Government Frameworks procurement is useful but is not a prerequisite Knowledge, Competency and Skill Requirements
  • A knowledge and background of reporting/preparing MI stats and data is key
  • A background in government procurement/GPS sector is desirable, but not essential
  • Candidates will require Security Clearance (SC) level to perform this role, so must be willing to go through the required process.
