Are you looking for your next key leadership role in Operations? We have several exciting opportunities to work for GSK in this capacity at one of our key Production sites and if that wasn’t enough the site is on the south-coast, a stones throw away from the coast.
We are looking for talented Operations Managers to come into the business and make a real difference at the Worthing Secondary site.
At the core of the Operations Manager will be your leadership capability. You will be somebody who has had many a success leading a team and will have achieved strong results because of your ability to lead, motivate and develop your team members.
The purpose of the Operations Manager is to agree, approve and deliver the Business Plan to supply quality material through a robust order fulfillment process meeting customer requirements on time and in full.
You will be somebody who is akin to working to tight timelines and working under pressure and will set yourself high standards of performance. You will set clear direction for those around you and will inspire your team. You will have a track record of achieving real tangible results for the business areas you have supported with the support of the teams around you. This is a real opportunity for talented individuals to come into this successful business and really make their mark, having clear accountability for decision-making.
The successful job holder will have a strong background in change transformation and leading complex operations. Whilst there will be the day to day to carry out efficiently, this role requires the ability to think and act strategically, engaging in long-term planning. It is equally important that you have the ability to communicate the bigger picture to your team and “make it real for people.”
You will on occasion be asked to deputise for the Value Stream Director and this will be an opportunity you will relish. You will be instrumental in driving the performance of the Operation forward and will work as part of the Site Operations Management team. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement and will be looking for team members to embody this mind-set. It goes without saying that Compliance, Quality and Environmental Health & Safety will be paramount in your day to day running of the Operation.
