Part time Interim CFO
Our client is an AIM-listed cyber security and intelligence company. They are seeking a part time interim CFO for a 4-6 month contract to start ASAP.
This person will have previously worked at board level in a listed or PE-owned company environment. They will have good leadership and team working skills, experience of acquisitions and deal structuring as well as capital raising.
Exposure to a start-up technology environment would also be desirable.
There is an existing financial team in place of two people - the basics of reporting, invoicing, tax management, payroll, cash management, etc. are in place and the emphasis for the interim CFO will be on finance leadership and strategic capability and not on reporting, nor conducting operational finance processes nor day-to-day tasks.
KEY TASKS FOR THE INTERIM CFO
• Lead the company through end of financial year, ending March 2017
• Primary liaison with Company Auditors
• Assist CEO with management of company
• Assist Board with mergers and acquisition assessments.
• Improve Cash Flow Forecasting
This person needs to be able to start at the end of January ideally.
This role may become permanent later at which point the CFO would become an Executive Director and Board Member.
Location: Central London with regular travel to Birmingham
Salary: Open to day rate (c£800) or salary (c£100K FTE)
Flexibility: 3 days a week
