Customer Services Adviser - Part-time

The Voice Service Centre is based at our Dalkeith Road offices in Edinburgh and we currently have a number of permanent part-time and full-time vacancies for Customer Service Advisers available within our telephony department. This role is 100% telephony based.

Working as part of a team, first and foremost you'll be helping our customers by answering a range of telephone enquiries. You'll be providing information on our Life, Pensions and Investment products and services, acting promptly on our customers' instructions and ensuring that records are fully up to date and accurate. These are purely customer service roles - no sales involved.

We'll provide great training and help you develop an in-depth knowledge of our products and processes. Alongside your proven communication and customer service skills this will help to ensure you deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.

We are looking for colleagues with an experience in financial services. You will be comprehensively trained on our systems and products but we are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running. This role will involve complex enquiries and mentoring other colleagues. You also need experience of helping customers and answering queries. We put the customer at the heart of everything we do and you will be trained to resolve calls by taking ownership and providing first touch resolution whenever possible.

The salary range is £17352 to £19280.

The full time shifts on offer cover flexible shifts across Monday to Friday 8 a.m - 6 p.m and a Saturday morning 9am -12.30 pm. The Saturday morning shifts are covered on a rota basis with time given back in the week prior giving a standard working week of 35hrs.

We are particularly interested in full time applicants who would like to work compressed hours - for example working a longer Monday shift with shorter shifts the rest of the week or 4 longer days (Monday inclusive) with a day off each week.

The training courses will take place in our Dalkeith Road offices in Edinburgh.
