Part time HR Manager

Our client, in the financial services sector, is now seeking an HR professional to join the business as they go through a growth phase. They have a fantastic reputation in the market and as they grow want to ensure they have the best people in the business.
The HR Manager will manage and support circa 150 employees across 3 sites in a generalist capacity, from HR administration through to strategic HR projects. The role will involve liaising with Board Level staff, to assist the company with their growth plans and to ensure that the company procedures put into place now help to lead the organisation successfully into the future.
The ideal candidate will be fully CIPD qualified and have experience of working in a financial company ideally, although this is not prerequisite. Being customer focused with leadership qualities and the ability to influence others is the key to success in this role. He/she will have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with employees and external partners.
The successful HR professional would be expected to lead and advise on all HR activities. The primary role will be to provide HR advice and support, to enable managers to meet their operational objectives and to effectively manage human resource issues in line with legal requirements and Company policies. He/she will have a working knowledge of employment legislation and the full range of HR practises and procedures. This role will also mentor and develop one other valued team member who is currently studying for their CIPD. This role would suit someone who is able to offer sound HR and people advice in a pragmatic way.
