Finance Manager, part time - 2.5 days per week

An exciting Finance opportunity for a growing business operating in the health & wellbeing sector. This is a great opportunity to join a high growth company with an ambitious innovation strategy.

The role will be a combination of book-keeping / financial control. A chartered accountancy qualification is preferred but not essential.

Your duties will include:

Bookkeeping

* Processing purchase ledger invoices / orders with international suppliers

* To check invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes

* To code appropriate projects and nominal ledger accounts - ensure the coding and recharges are correct, flag and query if notice anomalies

* To manage COGS, month end process, journals and stock reporting

* To prepare BACs payment runs and issue remittance advice to customers

* To reconcile supplier statements

* To manage invoice factoring service

* To reconcile customer discounts / rebates

* To review company expense

* Run monthly payroll

Management Accountancy

* Assist with year-end reporting and financial and VAT audit inspections

* Prepare monthly management accounts

* Prepare VAT submission

To be a successful applicant you MUST have this experience:

* Experience creating management accounts

* Good understanding of P&L and Balance Sheets

* Bank reconciliations

* An understanding of inter-company accounts, control accounts and VAT

* A sound working knowledge of excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, formulas and reporting)

* Previous experience of working with Xero is preferred, however not essential.
