Executive Support Technician - Open to flexibility

In this varied and challenging role, you'll provide full IT desktop support to Lloyds Banking Group Executives. Working as part of a team, your technical diagnosis skills and clear ability to communicate both verbally and written at a customer and technical level will be essential to ensure delivery of a world class support experience.

With a varied mix of software technologies to support (including Microsoft, Good, Blackberry/BES) and hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets, print and mobile) there are no shortage of challenges to manage on a daily basis. In addition there will be a requirement to support Executive events, often held in non-LBG locations.

Key Skills and Attributes will include experience of providing IT support to Senior Executives/demanding customers ideally in financial sector, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise workload and work to SLA's. Additionally you'll be a team player who is willing to support colleagues and will have the ability to build relationships with your colleagues, other IT teams and the business

What we'll need from you:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows XP/Windows 7 & Windows 10
  • Experience of accurate and detailed call logging on a tool such as SMART & AXIS I.T Service management
  • In depth troubleshooting of Office 2007\2010 ideally to a macro level
  • Blackberry support, BES experience
  • Active Directory and Exchange administration
  • Experience of troubleshooting remote connection issues and provide training to the business on how to use the remote technologies LBG offer
  • Network troubleshooting, TCP/IP, DNS
  • Patching/cabling
  • Familiar with building, configuring and troubleshooting desktops and laptops
  • Understanding of industry software troubleshooting eg GOOD, Reuters, Bloomberg
  • Basic Cisco IPT & AV/VC knowledge
  • Software Deployment, preferably knowledge of PADM/SCCM
  • iPAD/iPhone/Android support
