Returners Programme 2017 - Manager and Senior Manager Positions - Open to flexibility
Lloyds Banking Group is committed to becoming the best bank for customers and helping Britain prosper. Our colleagues help us to achieve this every day and we recognise the value in a workforce that's as diverse as our customer base.
That's why Lloyds Banking Group support a 'Returners Programme' dedicated to talented professionals like you, who have taken a break from your career and are now ready to return to work and resume your career. It's the third year we've run this award-winning scheme with so many success stories across our diverse business and brands that we want to build on.
Recognising that the transition back to work can be a challenge this 16 week internship programme is designed specifically with this in mind - with the aim of offering you a permanent position at the end.
As you'd expect, salaries vary depending on the business area and the type of role that you're appointed into and you can find out more via the dedicated pages on our careers site via the link below.
To qualify, you'll need to be returning from a break of (minimum) two years and whilst you're likely to have worked within professional services or banking, it's your experience, drive and transferable leadership skills that are important to us.
We recognise the value of your experience and we're looking for people like you in the following areas:
- Commercial Banking
- Retail Banking
- Consumer Finance
- Group Change Management
- Group Operations
- Group Operations IT
If your initial application is successful we'd look for you to join us for an Assessment Day sometime between 13th March and 10th April (depending on the business area you've applied to) so you'd need to be available to meet us over this period in London, Leeds or Solihull. This year's programme commences on 5th June and, for successful Returners, permanent roles would follow.
In addition to the salary quoted (pro-rata for the 16 week programme) we offer the following benefits:
- a car (or allowance)
- life assurance
- private medical care
- share schemes
- contributory pension contributions
- A flexible cash pot to take or spend on a wide range of benefits tailored to suit your lifestyle
Equally importantly, we pride ourselves on being an agile organisation - 40% of our workforce works in an agile way and 86% of our colleagues are happy that their line manager has the knowledge, skills and tools to manage agility effectively. We are proud to be recognised externally for our leading approach to Inclusion & Diversity, featuring in the Times Top 50 Employers for Women, Top 10 Employers for Working Families, Working Mums Best Employer for Dads and Stonewall Top Employer to name a few.
So if you have the skills that we're looking for and are ready to resume your career, this could be just the opportunity you're looking for.
