Our Group Audit (GA) function has a top quality team of skilled and experienced colleagues, trusted by our stakeholders, providing independent assurance to the Board and our business stakeholders. We play an important role in helping the business improve risk management through providing expert and constructive challenge on control effectiveness.
The GA People & Culture team focuses on assessing control effectiveness across risks such as people, governance, regulatory and operational risk across the People Division.
In this role, you'll provide audit and subject matter expertise to People & Culture focussed audits of varying scale and scope. You'll plan and execute risk based audits using the GA methodology to deliver audits of high standard and quality within time and cost constraints. You may support or lead an audit so could be responsible for managing an audit team as well as your stakeholders.
You have the opportunity to contribute to the formulation and delivery of our People & Culture team's annual audit strategy and, more widely, that of Group Audit. We value your input to the wider audit team activities which supports our department goal in "becoming our best."
Ideally you will have a track record or audit or risk experience within a Human Resources environment. You may already hold or be studying towards an audit or risk professional qualification however qualifications are not essential and we're keen to hear from you if your background is in governance, conduct or operational risk identifying key risks and controls relevant to regulatory and people risks. You'll also need to evidence strong project management, analytical and communication skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver results in a complex and diverse stakeholder environment.
