We currently have an exciting opportunity within ViiV Healthcare, our global specialist HIV company dedicated to delivering advances in treatment and care for people living with HIV. 

The Tax Manager role will assist the Head of Tax and Tax Director with the day to day running of the group’s tax affairs, ensuring compliance obligations are met and the group’s ETR and tax risks are appropriately managed. ViiV is established as a small dynamic team and working with the ViiV commercial, accounting, legal and supply chain will be a key aspect.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax planning and partnering with the business - Monitoring changes in the tax environment, for example BEPS project and challenges around the patent box, in order to understand their impact on the group.

M&A - Business Development and Corporate Development projects – work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop projects and ensure they are structured in a commercial and tax efficient manner. 

Forecasting - Work closely with the business to develop forecasts, both so that tax numbers can be reflected in order for tax payments and dividend flows to be forecasted. 

Transfer pricing - Assist the Tax Director with developing and maintaining the group’s transfer pricing strategy and policies, including responsibility for the preparation of any intercompany recharges or profit adjustments required. 

Compliance and Reporting - Become the day to day contact point for our compliance outsource providers (KPMG) to support them in their work on preparing tax disclosures and computations, including initial review of their output.
