International Payroll Manager, Global Mobility Compensation, Open to flexibility

Deloitte’s market leading Global Mobility Compensation (GMC) team support clients with the end to end management of global compensation for internationally mobile employees. The team ensure that clients are able to manage their global payroll and taxation requirements whilst paying employees accurately and on time.

Deloitte’s Global Mobility Compensation team support clients with:

  • The end to end management and delivery of assignee compensation globally
  • The delivery of expatriate payroll (actual and shadow)
  • Provision of support in relation to cost projection and balance sheet services
  • Compensation collation services on a monthly / quarterly basis
  • Provision of consulting projects in relation to all aspects of global mobility compensation, including process improvements, process mapping, training delivery
  • Delivery of technology and process implementation and project management to support the set-up of the above services.

Responsibilities

The International Payroll Manager will have responsibility for:

  • Responsible for leading a team of 7 compliance administrators. Being responsible for the day to day management of service delivery as well as coaching and developing their expertise.
  • Ownership and accountability for client relationships and management of the team to ensure high quality client deliverables at all times.
  • Contributing to the creation of new GMC related propositions and evolving existing services.
  • Development of knowledge and adherence to our best practice service delivery models
  • Responsible for all communications with our client service delivery teams located in the engagement office, nearshore and offshore
  • Management of engagement financials (billing, cash collection, etc.)
  • Building and developing long term relationships with senior stakeholders, clients and teams
  • To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

Requirements

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Previous experience within practice or a large in-house team
  • Excellent project management and client service delivery skills
  • Experience of expatriate payroll
  • Experience of working with technology platforms to manage the delivery of compensation
  • Understanding of excel macros and VBA coding

 Additional desirable experience includes:

  • Knowledge of Deloitte IHR technology platform.
  • Knowledge of Equus AssignmentPro platform.
