Plant Administrator, Open to flexibility

Grow with us as the Wrexham Plant Administrator.  You will be the key input for our plant, providing flexible and proactive administrative support to the Operations and Leadership team.

This is an extremely exciting, busy and unique role which allows you to get involved with a huge range of activities and really grow your experience within a corporate environment.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As well as being they key point of contact for all administrative support and developing an excellent senior network of leaders within the plant, you will be:

  • Completing administration tasks for the Plant Director and Leadership Team
  • Coordinating  and managing  Plant communications e.g., Bulletins, Notice Boards/screens, Briefings, Communication days, Yammer, Presentations, Cornflex communications etc.
  • Arranging quarterly briefings/team talk
  • Arranging meetings, taking notes as required
  • Managing and coordinating Plant inductions, tours, work experience programmes and all visits to site
  • Managing and coordinating community activities e.g., Charities, Donations, Corporate and School programmes
  • Arranging Plant events  e.g., 25 Year club recognition & dinner, Service Pin and Leaver presentations, Christmas events, presents and activities, annual retiree lunch/dinner
  • Maintain EDS suite, storage, archive room, reception facilities
  • Facilitate general administration activities e.g. Stationery, Licences, Archives, Purchase Orders
  • Assisting with  administrative duties for HR related activities/projects
  • Coordinating annual calendar of key events/activities
  • Ad-hoc administration as required

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

Required:

  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Proactive and self-sufficient with a positive "Can do" attitude
  • Highly developed Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Strong IT skills for all Microsoft office packages
  • Attention to detail, able to work with confidential information and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to say ’no’ to senior managers
  • Flexible approach to hours to be worked
  • Ability to positively manage multi tasks at any one time

Preferred:

  • Communication & Event Management experience
