Head of Finance & Operations, part time, 2-3 days per week
At Mentor we are going through a transformation, and we need your help. We are looking for a brilliant, diligent, innovative Head of Finance and Operations to join our small team and help build the foundations we need to thrive.
The role is part time, 2-3 days per week and we are happy to discuss when and how you work these hours. We are also happy to hear from candidates who are looking to return to work after a career break.
Working as part of the leadership team and alongside our new CEO, you'll lead on all things finance and operations, from management accounts and tracking income and expenditure through to supplier relationships and the development of our new CRM.
But more than this you'll be at the heart of a change in how we operate. Forcing us to think differently about how we work, helping us to be more efficient and effective and building the strong foundations we need to achieve our mission.
You'll be passionate about our work to ensure young people have the knowledge, skills and self-confidence they need to make positive, healthy choices about their future. You'll be adaptive in your approach and willing to work in a fast-changing environment. And have great communication skills, able to build strong, enduring relationships both inside the organisation and externally. In return we'll give you the autonomy and support you need to get on and thrive in the role, plus flexibility in terms of hours and time spent in and out of the office.
