HR and Compliance Officer

The position is term-time plus two weeks and can be part-time or full-time.

The King Alfred School is looking for a motivated individual who wants to take on a wide range of responsibilities and learn new skills. In this newly created position, reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will work in a supportive and friendly team to:

  • Support recruitment, induction and probation procedures
  • Ensure compliance with statutory safeguarding and data protection regulations
  • Support the successful running of the School’s Human Resources function.

You will have at least three years relevant experience, preferably within a school environment, and be:

  • An excellent administrator, used to multitasking and working in a busy environment Conscientious, personable and a team player Able to communicate well both in writing and orally With an eye for detail Familiar with implementing and using systems and processes Proactive, willing to take initiative and with a “can do” attitude.

The position is term-time plus two weeks and can be part-time or full-time. The salary will be £27,000 to £30,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience.
