This is a great opportunity to genuinely influence and shape the future of the sector by supporting key volunteering and governance infrastructure organisation

Reach Volunteering is a small but well-respected national charity working at sector level to address key issues such as trustee recruitment, board diversity and organisational capability.

Since taking our service online in 2015, we have almost doubled our impact, and halved our transaction costs. We have ambitious plans to keep growing  our impact over the next few years.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser with proven track record in raising funds from Trusts and Foundations. You will take ownership of our fundraising strategy and deliver all aspects of it, including writing targeted and compelling proposals and developing our relationship management strategy.

You will work closely with the CEO and other colleagues, and have the support of a small volunteer team.

In return, we can offer you

  • Flexible working
  • Friendly collaborative team, in an innovative, agile, learning organisation
  • A  mission driven organisational culture, genuinely focused on and steered by the needs of its users.

Reach believes that diversity is a strength and wishes to build a diverse team. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and will appoint on merit, but we are particularly keen to hear from applicants who are from BAME backgrounds since this group is currently under-represented in our team.

Application instructions:

Please email us your  CV, and a cover letter of no more than two side of A4, explaining why you are the right person for this role, and why you would like to work at Reach. Please make sure that you address all the points in the person specification  in your cover letter because we will use this letter to shortlist applicants.

If you would like to have an informal conversation about the role before applying, please contact Theodora to arrange a call with Janet Thorne, CEO

Closing date for applications: 5pm, 20th March

1st round interviews: 3 – 4th April
2nd round interviews: 11th April
