You’ll be joining the Finance team who are supporting the recently announced Wealth Management Joint Venture between LBG and Schroders. In this brand new role, you’ll be part of the team that will transfer across to the Joint Venture at the end of the transitional period, which is currently expected to be at the end of 2020.

Job Description

As the Assistant Manager Wealth - Capital and Regulatory, you'll be supporting the Finance Manager in setting up and running the Capital and Regulatory processes for the Joint Venture. You'll enjoy a real sense of breadth and depth in the technical accounting activity you'll be exposed to and have the latitude to shape both your role and the accountabilities within its remit.

You'll be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar), adept at working with complex processes, manipulating large amounts of data and providing solutions to challenges. You're deeply analytical, with a real eye for detail and accuracy. And you're accustomed to delivering to deadlines.

Your skills and experience will also include:

  • A deep understanding of Capital rules (CRD IV) and requirements governing Investment firms
  • Knowledge of FCA liquidity regime applicable to investment firms i.e. BIPRU 12
  • Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written (power point)
  • Highly competent MS office skills

You'll relish the opportunity to build on your existing experience, whilst shaping processes in this role. Alongside your technical expertise, your relationship building and management skills will be at the forefront of your contribution.

You have well-honed engagement skills and are able to communicate and influence at all levels. You'll use these skills to present to senior colleagues and be confident in responding to challenges and questions.
