About us

Timewise Jobs is a jobs board specialising in part-time jobs and roles that are open to flexibility, for people with skills and experience.

Our story began in 2005 when our founders, Emma Stewart, CEO, MBE and Karen Mattison MBE, identified the gap in the recruitment market for quality part-time jobs. They set up Women Like Us in London, which became hugely successful at supporting women to find work that fitted with family.

They then launched Timewise Jobs in April 2012, in recognition of the fact that flexible working is not just a women’s issue. It is attractive to many sectors of society – carers, people developing portfolio careers and those approaching retirement, to name just three. 

Our aim now is to make ‘quality part-time jobs’ easily accessible, across all business sectors and throughout the UK. We want to make all jobs that are open to flexibility more visible to candidates.
