Ashfield District Council is working towards accreditation as a Timewise Council, demonstrating our commitment to promoting the use of flexible and agile working in how we recruit and manage our employees.
Flexible and Agile Working is a way of working that can help employees balance their work and home lives. Examples could be having flexible start and finish times, working compressed hours or a nine day fortnight, working from home, remote working and hot desking. The Council is open to consideration of any requests for flexible working during the recruitment process with an understanding these will be balanced with the needs of the service.
