The Core Technology Hosting organization is undergoing reorganization and shifting from a project management - based delivery to product based solutioning and delivery with end to end accountability, working closely with the consumers of hosting. The OT Product Solution Architect role is required for delivery of all OT Solution Architecture activities for the Hosting Services organization and OT program. The OT program is a global multi-year multi-million GBP initiative to significantly reduce security and business continuity risks for GSK.

This role is responsible for development and leadership of the technology, service strategies and architecture for the OT program in Hosting Services . This role leads the development architectures to meet stakeholder needs, maintains and governs their use and ensures that they are in alignment with and complement the wider GSK infrastructure strategy.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Responsible for delivery of all OT Solution Architecture activities for the Hosting Services organization and OT program
  • Maintains all Solution Architecture patterns , ensures they are appropriately communicated with stakeholders and governs their use


  • Leads development of OT solution architectures, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers
  • Ensures that solution architectures balance functional, service quality and systems management requirements
  • Communicates technical designs and the rationale driving the design s with stakeholders
  • Co-ordinates design activity within Hosting Services for the OT program, acting as custodian of infrastructure plans
  • Identify architectural gaps and overlaps within existing architecture s and ensure s that they are resolved in an appropriate manner.
  • Ensures technical integrity of projects, that common technical elements are recognized , and that work is not unnecessarily duplicated
  • Translates product strategies into architectural standards
  • Assists in the development of service level agreements
  • Publicize s service strategies and delivery dates to keep customers and stakeholders informed

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelors (BA/BS) degree, or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience
  • 10+ years of Tech/IT experience


  • 5+ years of Infrastructure Architecture experience

  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable technology solutions effectively in a complex global enterprise
  • Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise-wide Operational Technology solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in working with Tech staff and service owners and suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability for sound judgment with strong emphasis on quality, cost and continuous improvement
  • Understand ecosystem of cyber security
  • Customer/client facing experience
  • Experience of operating in an international environment with tact, diplomacy and cultural sensitivity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GSK policies, procedures and processes where ongoing assurance must be managed
