The Business Integrity FBP will champion the Controls, Compliance and Integrity agenda for the Procurement, Plan and Customer Service & Logistics COEs. 

  • This role will advocate and manage the accountabilities related to ‘doing business in the right way’ across end to end Supply.
  • This person will work collaboratively with the Procurement, Plan and Customer Service & logistic Global COEs to improve and embed the end-to-end compliance framework.
  • This person will drive oversight of risk indicators and potential red flags, looking for insights and root causes for deficiencies and advise on / coordinate interventions to mitigate risks across end to end Supply. 
  • Coordinate CARM scoping activity, ensuring a robust control set that reflects all relevant business risks.  Work closely with the CAS team to ensure deficiencies are quickly root caused, clearly reported to the relevant COE head & fully remediated to a best in class standard

Top Accountabilities

  • Visible and active ambassador of CC&E delivering an effective and relevant compliance & ethics agenda.
  • Work with the Business Integrity Manager to create and shape Diageo SC&P risk management culture including building capabilities around controls and risk ownership and understanding to enable proactive risk identification, holistic assessments and management.
  • Oversee the Controls Assurance and Risk Management (CARM) mapping and scoping by working with functional heads, local leaders and CAS.
  • In conjunction with the CAS team, oversee the CARM process outcome and results, specifically on issues/control deficiencies and advise functional heads / control owners on potential root causes as well as provide guidance on effective remediation.  Lead as needed, the CARM Test of Design & walkthroughs for Procurement, Plan and Move functions.
  • Facilitate COE governance (controls, risk and business integrity programme) reporting and sign off activities, including submission to ARC and FAC.
  • Coordinate compliance risk assessment process and monitor it for deficiencies in compliance related practices.
