I am recruiting an experienced accountant for a 6 month interim contract. Ideally an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant, qualified by experience and part qualified accountants with the availability and the relevant skills will also be considered. This position can be undertaken on a full time or potentially a part time (4 days) basis and could be split between working from home and in the Hull office.

THE ROLE:
-Preparation of monthly management accounts and involvement in the financial accounting process
-Supervision/coaching a team of four
-Assistance with the annual audit process
-A range of ad hoc duties as and when required

THE CANDIDATE:
-You will be an experienced accountant with all round generalist skills, a high standard of systems literacy particularly with Excel and have had previous experience of overseeing/coaching a small competent team
-Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, candidates who are qualified by experience or part qualified will also be considered with the relevant skills, experience and availability
-There is a possibility that this role could be undertaken on a 4 day per week basis, so candidates who are looking for part time work and who would also benefit from being able to work from home as well as in the office should apply.

THE BENEFITS:

-??35,000 - ??40,000 (pro rata) + the possibility of part time or full time working and a split between working from home and in the office. For office days good public transport and road links are available and social distancing measures are in place.
