Experienced Accounts & Payroll Administrator required for small but thriving transport business operating from Kettering.

Our client are a small family run haulage business who are experiencing vast growth and now seeking an experienced accounts & payroll administrator to handle all accounting and payroll duties whilst offering support across the office.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of accounts and payroll and be self-motivated to complete your duties in a timely manner and able to manage own workloads effectively.

This is PART TIME (20-25 hours) over 5 days per week (MON-FRI)

??25,000 Per Annum (Pro Rata)

Key Duties:

* Bank reconciliation and cash flow forecasting

* Raising and processing sales invoices

* Processing purchase invoices, including supplier statement reconciliations and preparation of weekly/monthly payment runs

* Some credit control duties

* Payroll and Payment scheduling

* Purchase Order number control

* Completion of all month-end accounting procedures

* Completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns

* Costing exercises for the Directors

* General financial and office administration

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

* Strong double entry bookkeeping

* Great working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and other MS office products, both cloud based and networked, as well as using PDF files

* Competent in understanding and adapting to new systems

* Strong communication skills and time management

* Working experience using cloud-based payroll software
