Refusing to ignore people in crisis

Exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Red Cross’ planning and performance team, supporting a range of performance management processes that track the delivery of our 2015-2019 strategy; Refusing to Ignore People in Crisis.

The team overseas a number of key processes that support organisation stewardship and ensure that the executive leadership team and board of trustees have access to insight and intelligence about our strategic journey and the difference we make for people in crisis.

As corporate planning and reporting officer, you will support two of the key processes: risk management and impact reporting. You will work across the organisation to strengthen and improve risk management practices and ensure cross-organisation coordination. This will include liaising with risk champions across directorates, and reporting quarterly to senior management and the board of trustees on the organisation's risk status.

You will also provide critical project support at this exciting time, as we embark on our first impact report. As well as providing project management support, you will be heavily involved in the production of the reporting and engagement with internal stakeholders once the report is produced.

Key to this role will be proven experience of supporting organisational performance and project management.  You must have outstanding written and analytical skills and experience of writing for a range of audiences in a strategic context. You should possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure and in complex environments. Proven ability to form and maintain effective working relationships across teams, embrace and implement change, and work under pressure is essential.
