Purpose of Role

To offer an exemplary management of inventory and excellent partnering with key buying and sales teams and third party providers.

Top Accountabilities

  • Arranging and managing shipping for all wine purchases
  • Some UK wine and all spirit PO raising and demand management
  • Manage stock forecast for Diageo and Vranken Pommery
  • Managing internal stock queries
  • Logistic reporting
  • Supplier price list increase management
  • New spirit and supplier set up and stock availability and costing
  • Allergen and packaging and waste data upkeep
  • Day-to-day Un-charged reserves management
  • EP pack size issue resolution
  • product set up requests and cost price changes advice- to data
  • EP despatch to cellarers (and some to customers)
  • Data Management – ABV’s etc.

Qualifications and experience required

  • Genuine interest in wine
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Extensive use of PC applications: advanced Excel; intermediate Word; MS Outlook required
  • Wine qualifications (WSET,Diploma)an advantage
  • Experience on a drinks related stock system preferred (system used – Maginus)
  • Supply Planning and logistics environment environment
  • Good numeracy skills
