Remote working and flexible working is encouraged and supported.  Occasional visits to the Southampton office at Southampton Science Park, Chilworth and other locations across the UK may be required for remote workers and will be fully reimbursed, as required.

We are looking for high calibre candidates with a passion for applied health research to fill vacancies in our research management functions. Successful candidates will be offered positions based on the best fit for their skills, to meet business needs.

You should have a background in health research management and/or experience of working in an NHS, social care, public health or low-resource global health setting, alongside a genuine desire to make a difference to patients and the public.

As a Research Manager you will manage a portfolio of work to support our research programmes. You will build and maintain positive and professional working relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will prioritise your workload and lead on improvements to working practices. You must be able to understand, rationalise and communicate complex problems/issues, taking or recommending appropriate action. You should have excellent writing, analytical and critical appraisal skills and able to understand and interpret complex medical and scientific literature.
