Our Retail Compliance team works to ensure that energy suppliers follow relevant regulations and legislation and help to achieve better outcomes for consumers. As a Compliance Analyst you’ll gather and review intelligence from a variety of sources to identify and investigate any potential areas of non-compliant activity. It’s a fast-paced working environment that will suit someone who can establish good working relationships with industry participants and analyse evidence and data to draw conclusions and make recommendations on appropriate intervention.
It’s important that you have strong communication skills and that you can engage professionally (in writing and in person) with stakeholders at all levels. You should be well-organised with project management skills that enable you to prioritise your work to meet competing deadlines. You should be able to build positive working relationships across different teams and possess analytical skills that enable you to get to the bottom of issues and topics and make clear recommendations. Previous experience in the energy industry or compliance work will be of value.
