To meet the requirements of this role, you will have in depth knowledge, proven expertise and practical experience in Firewalls, Cloud based networking and Network monitoring. You will also have a solid understanding of internet routing protocols and concepts. Experience of configuring and managing AWS or Azure networking and Infrastructure as code and automation/orchestration technologies such as Ansible, Jenkins and Terraform is essential.
Alongside the technical experience required for this role, you will also be an effective communicator with demonstrable experience of dealing with 3rd party suppliers and customers. You also have evidence of high-level planning and managing technical change and effective time management skills.

We are currently recruiting several roles to ensure the directorate’s teams contain the right blend of skills, experience and knowledge to take our major transformation programme forward.
