We are helping an innovative and growth-orientated London-based peer-to-peer lending platform find an experienced, confident and analytical Compliance Officer. In this regulatory compliance position, you will be providing alternative finance to SME housebuilders who have limited access to mainstream finance. You will be part of an inclusive and collaborative team opening up the traditionally exclusive property investment market to everyone.
To answer the question 'What are the responsibilities of this compliance officer role? Here are some of the things you would have been doing if you were already on board:
Acting as a go-to expert on all financial compliance, risk control and regulated activities
Managing of processes and submitting of projects
Making relevant checks before recommending lending
Producing compliance audit reports and management information
To apply, you will need to be an organised and diligent Compliance Officer and risk management expert who can support the day-to-day running of the business.
You will also require:
3+ years' experience in a compliance role (P2P lending, property or finance, risk management)
Adequate knowledge of FCA regulations and financial promotions
Experience managing external parties
Startup experience and property and investment knowledge would also be beneficial
