PA to the CEO - Part-time 16 hours/wk

ANNUAL SALARY: £21k  pro rata

HOURS: Part time – 16 hours per week

LOCATION: JHub, Haskell House, 152 West End Lane, West Hampstead, London, NW6 1SD

REPORTING TO: Line Manager, Jewish Interactive UK


Jewish Interactive (Ji) uses educational technology to create accessible, affordable and engaging Jewish education for any child, anywhere.

We are a non-profit charity organisation that was established in 2012, and our aim is to harness the power of EdTech to build a positive Jewish identity for the next generation.

To date, we have produced 10 apps which are being used across 30 countries by approximately 30,000 users.


  • To act as a PA to the CEO of Jewish Interactive, UK
  • To manage office systems to ensure the efficient running of the organisation


  • Provide day to day assistance to the CEO including with correspondence, diary management, travel arrangements and meetings 
  • Support the CEO with the preparation of reports, presentations, hand-outs for training and grant funding applications.
  • Assist the CEO to service Trustee meetings including preparation, and distribution of papers, ordering refreshments and minute taking.
  • Provide logistical support on Jewish Interactive activities (training workshops, fundraising events etc) working with the CEO and/or Tech Trainers as necessary.
  • Under the guidance of the CEO, support production of marketing materials including liaising with designers and printers.
  • Be the first point of contact for queries on the telephone, by e-mail and in person
  • Undertake general office administration eg post, filing, stationery supplies, photocopying, dealing with enquiries etc., and implement new office systems where appropriate
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients



  • Experience of being an administrator or PA in an office environment
  • Experience of having worked for - or an understanding of how - a small organisation operates


  • Good standard of general education


  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite, in particular working with Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar database system would be an advantage.
  • Good typing skills
  • Ability to work in a busy open-plan office environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) as the post will involve composing correspondence, dealing with enquiries and liaising with a variety of different people by telephone, email and in person
  • Excellent organisational abilities including prioritising and planning a busy workload
  • Financially literate with the ability to understand budgets
  • Good understanding of database management systems
