Our client is an established SME within the engineering sector. They are seeking an Operations/Facilities Manager to join the business on a part time basis, circa 20 hours a week.

The successful incumbent will be play a pivotal role in running the business more efficiently, putting structures and procedures in place across the business. This person will have responsibility for the building and facilities as well as line management for many of the small operational teams within the business. This will include completing annual reviews and ensuring HR processes are in place.

Candidates will have a background in engineering having worked previously within the sector. Previous experience of running a business or having a key operations role within a small business is crucial. An understanding of manufacturing processes and broad facilities management experience is important. Proven people management skills are essential.

Location - Herts
Flexibility - 20 hours per week (flexible working patterns available)
Salary - up to £60K FTE
