Senior Technical Support Specialist - Open to flexibility

This role requires credible senior leadership qualities combined with a self-starter attitude and a drive to simplify and innovate within our IT systems.

You'll be responsible for providing technical expertise and advice to a diverse range of stakeholders and supporting our partners in delivering technical solutions.

You'll be involved in a number of key, strategic Programmes working with key IT & Business stakeholders and will be responsible for the development and review of infrastructure design, integrity of application integration landscape, validation of system configuration, security schema analysis, and Installation/Configuration of software components.

You'll have expertise in bring in improvement initiatives and implement tools/ reusable artefacts to bring benefit to the business and save effort. Experience of working in the Financial Service Sector would be desirable.

You'll be responsible for delivering strong service through effective landscape management and monitoring. You'll participate in the technology roadmap workshop and propose and validate the technology adoption to match the business objectives of the organization.

Your accountabilities will include undertaking the day to day delivery of a comprehensive functional service and/or complex change projects. Contributing to the functions operating plan in line with the strategy of CIO area and Group IT. The Senior SME is a technical expert who drives integrity and maintenance of the applications which they are responsible for within a team. Providing technical expertise to ensure compliance and quality standards are adhered to at all times and assists in leading the technological direction of the team.

  • A proven track record within IT in a technical support role
  • A drive and determination to do the right thing
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills to manage a diverse range of stakeholders
  • An innovative mind-set that challenges the norm
