This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy team and it comes as we all face a challenging time. Fawcett’s focus on women and girls’ lives is critical as the COVID crisis risks turning the clock back on gender equality.
This post will play a vital role in our busy policy and campaigns team you will play a key role in delivering high profile policy and research projects and will lead on Fawcett’s Pay and Progression of Women of Colour project. You will also contribute to Fawcett’s evidence-based campaigning activity
We therefore particularly welcome applications from people of colour for this role. This post is 22.5 hours per week which can be worked flexibly, days and hours to be negotiated. This role can be worked either primarily from home (apart from meetings as required), or based in Fawcett’s London office if and when we return to it. Note all Fawcett staff are currently working remotely until further notice. This post will require some evening and weekend work which can be taken as TOIL.
This is a one year fixed term contract which may be made permanent, subject to available resources, after one year.
