Sourcing Manager - Open to flexibility

Our Group Sourcing Function consists of 11 teams of business focused specialists, who manage, support and advise Lloyds Banking Group on all sourcing activity. We work collaboratively with business units across the Group providing transformational solutions to suit their needs, in line with cost management principles. This covers all external spend, from small purchases to major investment programmes, as well as enabling systems and processes.
The Professional Services Sourcing team are responsible for the end to end management of all third party professional services expenditure across the Group. This area of spend includes Legal, Management Consultancy and Professional Fees. The nature of spend often means that our executive stakeholders take a significant interest in our sourcing activity.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sourcing Manager to join the Professional Services Consultancy & Audit team. In this role, you'll partner with the business to drive value from suppliers, and lead on the supplier relationship management activity.
You'll assist in the development of category strategies, taking direction to help manage the cost base by delivering opportunities that drive cost out via demand management, simplifying specifications and strengthening supplier relationships to mitigate risk and improve performance. This is a role that matters as you'll be responsible for inputting into category and sub-category strategies, reflecting external market conditions whilst optimising the cost of ownership to deliver sustainable strategic direction for the business.
You'll help to identify best practices, ascertain customers future requirements where appropriate respond to changes in the internal and external environment to secure best value from third party expenditure.
You'll be an experienced sourcing professional who can drive forward a changing business model in this high profile area. You will be an expert in influencing and engaging senior stakeholders and have experience in preferably professional services sourcing.
