Business Architect - Commercial Banking - Open to flexibility

Commercial Banking has a rich heritage of supporting businesses and the economic prosperity of the nation, primarily focused on UK businesses and those with strong links to the UK. We provide customers with the support they need to help them grow, manage risk and enhance efficiency. And we continue to invest in our relationship teams and deepen our product expertise to ensure we deliver first class service.

We manage the delivery of a significant portfolio of change across a diverse range of clients with increasingly complex needs and who generate a very significant revenue contribution to the Group. Change colleagues work with key stakeholders across our business to understand and meet client needs across a range of services from derivative products in Financial Markets, trade finance, traditional banking products such as payments, term lending and overdrafts, to dynamically transforming the way that clients interact with us using emerging digital technology.

We offer exciting and rewarding career paths across all disciplines, from programme and project management to business architecture and analysis, continuous improvement and testing, as well as business readiness and programme office. There is literally something for everyone.

We take capability development very seriously, with many colleagues part of a professional change practice, where dedicated practice managers work with colleagues on a daily basis to support their development, understand career aspirations and how these can be matched with business needs. We truly build our colleagues into versatile change professionals with a valued and very transferable skillset.

Business Architects work throughout Lloyds Banking Group to own the design integrity across a business, a business unit or a large change programme, taking accountability for ensuring that projects deliver a scope and business solution that is in line with the Target Operating Model (TOM), the agreed business design principles and other in-flight projects.

You'll use the insights you gain to support the shaping and alignment of change programmes, help to govern business design activities, and assist in developing and maintaining operating models across the organisation, thus ensuring that the Group's strategy is delivered cohesively, efficiently and effectively through its business change initiatives, and ultimately improving the way we do business - It's a role that matters.

We're looking for you to have previous experience in a Business Architecture role, covering a scale of programmes/change of up to £10m. Good interpersonal skills will be essential.

In return we include a bonus related pay scheme, private healthcare, contributory pension, generous holiday allowance, car allowance and our "flex" benefits scheme.

We support the principles of agile working and will be pleased to consider applications from candidates seeking flexible working arrangements.

So if you have the business architecture experience we're seeking, we'd like to hear you!
