Contract Type

KPMG is currently working shoulder-to-shoulder with Civil Service Learning (CSL) to help develop the capabilities of civil servants, ultimately resulting in better public services. This is through the provision of an innovative learning curriculum that should help ensure value for money from the learning and development investment across UK Government.

This is a result of an innovative contract between KPMG in the UK and the Government, drawing on people, technology and intellectual capital at KPMG and backed by a consortium of over 30 suppliers.
Over 400,000 civil servants will have the opportunity to benefit from a wide-ranging curriculum, covering topics as diverse as leadership and management, customer service, finance and policy. Blended learning is the cornerstone of the programme’s approach, meaning that digital learning activities such as video and online training feature as prominently as (if not more than) traditional face-to-face workshops.

At KPMG, we believe that the CSL programme represents a blueprint for how to deliver an entire learning programme and development curriculum; a blueprint we hope to use for other clients in the future.
