The Group Treasury team are co-located across London and Budapest.  This role will provide support and assistance to the Global Treasurer and to the extended team. The person will also work with the extended team in Budapest.

Dimensions of the role:

Multiple internal and external relationships

The group treasury team interacts internally across the globe as well as externally with a significant number of relationship banks and other agencies. Developing knowledge and relationships with these will be important.

Leadership Responsibilities

This role is an integral member of the team and will be key to coordinating meetings and actions across the group treasury team. This will involve use of internal communications and intranet sites.

Purpose of Role

To support the Group Treasury team on a range of administrative, co-ordination and support activities.

Top Accountabilities

  • Support the Group Treasury team agenda’s via the co-ordination of information/data in support of all key treasury meetings and deliverables.
  • Provide core support in the area of proactive diary management, meeting arrangements, expenses and travel itineraries to the Group Treasurer and 3 direct reports.
  • Co-ordinate the administration of projects, such as bank reviews, development days and take a pro-active part when required especially with respect to team compliance and budget/purchase order management.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Must have relevant academic background – A levels or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in a PA or Team Assistant role at senior level, preferably within a fast moving commercial environment.
  • Has regularly interfaced with overseas locations – can work with global complexity.
  • Can manage multiple external relationships.
  • IT skills – Microsoft packages (advanced), email software, creating spread sheets and database management in Excel and preparing creative PowerPoint presentations – must have an eye for detail. Comfortable using the intranet.
  • Experience in preparing numerical analysis is helpful
  • Strong team player, proactively builds key customer relationships and looks to support others
  • Prioritises and looks proactively for solutions when there are changing and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and confidence – articulates view and challenges others appropriately on how things are done
