Business Support Assistant
ABOUT THE JOB
The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of an effective administrative support service, in line with Force policies and procedures.
Within this role, the post holder is required to provide a document preparation service, including transcription from a variety of media and sources. The post holder will undertake general clerical duties, including diary management, mail and correspondence processing, the inputting, updating and retrieval of information from computerised systems, processing of invoices, and assisting with ordering and stock control.
You will be educated to Standard Grade level or equivalent or where no formal qualifications exist, proven clerical experience in an office environment. Applicants must be IT literate with the ability to work with a variety of databases.
This part time post is permanent and requires Standard Recruitment Vetting. You will work 17.5 hours per week, Wednesday 13:00-16:30 hours, Thursday and Friday 08:30 - 16:30 hours.
