Part-time 25-30 hours per week

Workshop Recruitment are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Business Development Executive to come into focus on developing new business relationships. Our office is based on the outskirts of Portsmouth in Drayton and following a successful 2020 despite a global pandemic we are looking to continue our growth over the next 12 months. We are a forward-thinking company that are looking for people that will want to grow with us. This role will be focused predominantly on New Business Development and working strategically to bring on new accounts with a focus on mid-market and enterprise companies across the South Coast. This role is a part-time role with hours to suit, happy to look at school hours or 3 full time days but a minimum of 25 hours is required.

Duties

Responsible for identifying and contacting clients

Expected to identify and qualify new vacancies

Undertake client meetings where necessary with the key objective of securing new business

Be able to manage the bid process and present to clients when necessary

Put together talent and recruitment solutions in line with prospective client's business strategy

Once you secure new clients you will be required to work with your colleagues to ensure that their requirements are met.

Someone who is comfortable cold calling and has the drive to hunt down business development leads and convert them in to revenue opportunities.

Skills and Experience

Be a self-starter who knows how to identify potential customers and create a client prospect list.

Understand sales lead generation and be able to qualify prospects into genuine client leads.

Have expertise in cold calling and in Information probing to establish key contacts and client needs.

Be skilled at objection handling, listening skills, client retention and rapport building.

Be comfortable meeting B2B clients face to face and leading the meeting.

Have excellent Negotiation skills

Be able to provide Management Information Reports

Be proficient at meeting KPI's

Possess good organisational skills

Knowledge and experience of working within the permanent staff resourcing sector will be a distinct advantage.

Minimum 3-year track record working in sales or new business development

Must have full UK Licence and own car
