As a Marketing Technology Partner, you are a key business partner for our marketing teams (and broader business), enabling our brand teams to maximise the tools and expertise of the Digital Centre of Excellence.

You will make it your mission to power our marketing across Europe with both technology and data. This means that you’re up to speed on trends and best practices in Digital Marketing and Technology, and have the leadership skills to make it happen.

With our internal digital specialists at your side, obsessed with finding the perfect solution for you through their own knowledge, and that of third party agencies, you will direct the path to success for your partner brands via a strong cross-functional team.  This role can be as high impact as you want it to be – a big role within the Digital Centre of Excellence with a broad, cross-market remit, and one that will drive digital transformation strategy into action across the business.

Key responsibilities 

The Marketing Technology Partners sit at the heart of our Digital Centre of Excellence, and also act as an extension of our marketing teams; it’s your responsibility to bridge the gap between marketing and technology as the forefront member of the Digital Centre of Excellence team.

You inspire, challenge and enable our marketers to deliver industry-leading digital marketing by making full use of our global training and digital marketing subject matter experts, as well as our data platform, marketing technology platform, reporting & social intelligence tools.

You then lead the right skilled cross-functional team to deliver your partner brands’ requirements to time and high quality

You work in collaboration with the brand teams at every stage of their digital activity, bringing expertise, speed, agility and stability to our digital marketing through the use of tools and technology – which your digital technologist colleagues will provide guidance on.

Successful candidates will be able to: 

  • Manage multiple brand relationships and digital projects simultaneously
  • Partner with multiple agency teams to deliver the desired digital experience
  • Lead innovative solutions for digital campaigns while adhering to the Diageo Marketing Code
  • Help marketers use data to make better decisions

Experience required 

  • The right digital champion for this role has demonstrated success in a similar leadership role, or through consulting and/or digital agencies with a skew towards Digital Marketing.
  • You’ll have strong experience as a digital practitioner and have a firm understanding of how data and technology can power marketing
  • Experience in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Audience Manager desired
