HR Business Partner, Open to flexibility

This role will support the HR Director in the development and implementation of HR strategies and programs in support of the business strategy whilst ensuring the entire HR team works within legal and European guidelines.  It will also work closely with HR Director and COE ER in order to provide country-specific consultation expertise and being responsible for local consultations.


  • Partner with business leaders to lead the delivery of pro-active and innovative HR programs in designated business areas
  • Be a change agent for the business, challenging the status quo, leading and supporting change and supporting organisational transitions 
  • Coach managers and teams to ensure leadership behaviour is aligned to the K values; enabling people managers to deal successfully with all people management issues, develop their capability in effective performance management and employee engagement. 
  • Support the Reward COE in the development and delivery of benefits, reward and recognition schemes and salary review.

  • Support the Talent COE in the delivery of HR initiatives to the designated business area such as Talent Management, PMP, career succession and management, managing recruiting exceptions and supporting job fairs in geographic areas 
  • Establish strong credible relationships with business leaders and people managers, recognising and tackling business issues, assessing potential HR requirements and implementing appropriate solutions to address these.
  • Provides business unit and local market related expertise and input to other HR colleagues across Europe as required 
  • Provides expert advice to GBS HR Generalists on HR best practice, legislation and country-specific ER topics
  • Work closely with ER COE and HR Director to advise on country-specific ER implications 
  • Assess impact and risk and devise on pragmatic ER interventions for the responsible country
  • Support complex ER case management and complex consultation issues (e.g. country specific requirements)
  • Support HR Director with and attend ongoing local consultations
  • Establish strong credible relationships with local works councils and employee representatives groups.
  • Provide HR support to adhoc HR project work as required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field
  • Experience of working in strategic business facing Human Resources role and program delivery with a sound understanding of European HR strategies, practices and polices including Change Management, Organisational Effectiveness, Culture and Engagement 
  • Good working knowledge of domestic employment law and HR best practice
  • Strategic thinking
  • Flexible, problem solving approach and strong team player
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience at large multi-national consumer packaged goods company
  • CIPD qualification or working towards preferred
