Your role

Your role will enable the adoption of key technologies within Deloitte, by ensuring a strong understanding of our business and how technology is used. In addition, you will support the NSE Digital Adoption Director to evolve the Digital Adoption practice.

Professional and business focused, with user research, relationship management and presentation skills.

Specific responsibilities include;

  • Understand barriers to technology adoption by collaborating with digital influencers across the firm.
  • Develop data driven approach to understanding levels of adoption across the firm.
  • Own Collaboration Central for the UK firm, working with NSE and Global colleagues to ensure consistency.
  • Work with Internal Comms and Tech Bytes teams to deliver targeted adoption campaigns based on research and data.
  • Create roadmaps for digital adoption, linking them to line of business and ITS strategies.
  • Work with colleagues across the firm to sense new technologies that the firm should invest in.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry/sector activities, marketplace trends, global trends, innovation efforts and leading practices to evolve the internal practice. 
  • Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

Location: Any regional UK office

Work pattern: This is a 12 months secondment / fixed term contract opportunity. 

Your professional experience

  • Strong written, verbal & presentation skills, with an ability to communicate and influence across different layers of the organisation.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, present and challenge complex information to colleagues at all levels of the firm.
  • A research based, creative mindset, used to develop innovative ways of understanding our business, barriers to adoption and potential solutions.
  • Experience of developing & maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders at all levels within the firm with the ability to challenge & influence where required.
  • A strong “can do” attitude with an ability to motivate colleagues to do the same.
  • A role model in having a proactive approach, especially when managing stakeholder expectations.
  • A role model as a team player with an ability to work collaboratively and positively with others in an open, friendly, flexible and facilitating manner.
  • Professional and highly presentable at all times.
  • Role model interpersonal skills, with gravitas to gain credibility and trust with senior staff.
  • Diplomatic, yet persuasive with an ability to handle difficult conversations and confidently manage & influence senior stakeholders.
  • An expert in logical/critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Confident and comfortable to work under pressure and manage a number of tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work in a flexible environment, with an ability to decide which style of analysis and project delivery is appropriate.
  • Desire to both develop individually in a lead role and support Digital Adoption Director to continually review and develop team methodology and ensure a positive perception of the team.

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints.
