Our client has an opportunity for Level 4 diploma qualified, Independent Financial Advisors across the UK, to maintain a high quality advice service to existing clients on a range of Financial planning solutions.
This person will have responsibility for retaining existing on-going income, generating additional new business income and also to identify and pass on opportunities for internal referrals for client facing meetings.

Principle Tasks:

  • Identifying individual clients who may be interested in our services
  • Obtaining referral business from existing clients.                                   

Fact Finding         

  • Gathering sufficient ‘Know Your Client’ information to establish clients’ financial circumstances, needs, objectives and risk profile
  • Verifying the identity of clients in line with the company’s anti-money laundering procedures

Analysing Client Needs

  • Assessing KYC information gathered in order to make suitable recommendations
  • Liaising with T&D Manager, and Administration where appropriate

Presenting solutions  

  • Explaining, over the phone, via web-link/ face-time or in writing, why the product/s recommended are suitable to meet clients’ needs, objectives and risk profile
  • Issuing suitability letters/reports and supporting documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensuring any outstanding queries/issues raised are resolved prior to the completion of application forms

Completing business

  • Ensuring application forms, cheques and any other ancillary documentation are forwarded to product providers in a timely manner
  • In liaison with administrator, ensuring all mandatory compliance requirements are met prior to the business being submitted

Client Portfolio Reviews

  • Maintaining the diary system to ensure reviews take place in line with agreed service standards/client agreements
  • Undertaking reviews of client portfolios in line with agreed service standards

After Sales Service    

  • In conjunction with administrator, maintaining a high standard of ongoing administration and review services in accordance with agreed service levels

Record Keeping 

  • Ensuring file notes of telephone conversations and client meetings are held on file to provide a complete audit trail
  • Maintaining client files in good order at all times

Salary:  £35k-£40k pa (experience dependent) plus a commission/ bonus scheme and benefits
Location: UK wide with some home-based working
Flexibility: Full time flexible working - time spent between office and home
