Communications Business Partner, Open to flexibility

We are looking for a Communications Business Partner to join our Group Corporate Affairs team. You'll provide expert advice on internal and external communications in order to protect and advance the reputation of the Group, its businesses and brands with colleagues, customers, the media and other stakeholders.

You'll play a leading role in the management and implementation of an integrated communications strategy, ensuring alignment, internally and externally, across all programmes, campaigns and activities. You'll manage the full range of communication channels and media, innovating in the area of digital and social media.

Liaising on internal and external communications you'll anticipate both opportunities and risks, and provide guidance on the appropriate stance for the Group internally and externally.

This is a great opportunity for a person with the right skills to contribute to the provision of a fully integrated communications service in a role that includes the development and delivery of integrated campaigns, the preparation of communications materials and management of key channels, writing press releases, managing internal and media queries and working with contracted communication agencies. You will be encouraged to guide and influence business policies and actions where reputation is at stake, maximising reputational advantage and minimising damage. The position will allow you to develop communications narrative and messages and draft key internal communications and press releases, adapting style and delivery for different audiences.

You'll need to enjoy, and have a strong understanding of how internal and external communications align, and how they can be leveraged to engage with and connect stakeholders and audiences.

In addition we are looking for someone who comes with robust knowledge of communications within the financial services sector or a similarly regulated industry. You'll have strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical language into easily understandable insights or recommendations.
