Are you a Systems Specialist looking for an interesting and rewarding role that will make a real difference? Would you like to join one of the UK's most recognisable charities and contribute to the work we do at Sue Ryder? We support people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that's a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition - we're there when it matters. Our doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.

This is an exciting time for the Charity as we are well on our way to implementing a new HR/Pay System across the whole business. This project will transform the way we work.

As the Systems Specialist, you will guide the Project Team and work closely with other business units to ensure the effective rollout of the new solution, manage post implementation systems administration and support new developments as they become available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Project Team to ensure the new system is configured to enable delivery of the commercial Business Case.
- Develop a detailed knowledge of systems administration tasks for all modules ie HR, Payroll, Social Hub, Performance Management including security, configuration and reporting etc.
- Continuously 'check in' with the business leads and our change manager to ensure functionality meets expectations and is achievable. Provide feedback and recommendations for change to the Project Team.
- Support the Project Manager, the Change Manager and the HR and Payroll teams with more technical activities and issues and risk resolution. Liaise with the supplier and raise technical issues if appropriate.
- Work with the People Team, the organisation and external suppliers to deliver future system development/functionality from concept through project planning to rollout and evaluation.
- When implemented, assess new functionality and the impact for the business.
- Where necessary deliver ongoing learning materials for the organisation.
- Work with the people team and the business to develop robust reporting capability that meets the Charity's needs.

About You

Previous experience of working with HR/Payroll Systems is essential. Experience in CoreHR from a more technical and reporting perspective would be a distinct advantage.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to evolve changes smoothly and effectively. You will be comfortable working with team members who are based remotely and be able to act as an ambassador for the system across the organisation.
