Within TDA, we are developing solutions and capabilities for Unified Data Management & Migration (UDMM). UDMM delivers data centricity by collecting, connecting, unifying, governing & sharing trusted and well-orchestrated data which underpins the insight platform. UDMM sits at the heart of modern data management & essential for every cloud & customer led transformation (CLT). UDMM is key enabler for enterprise data estate modernisation and help organisation to become data centric and insight driven.

A Master Data Technology Specialist is a software engineering role specialized in master data management solutions and services. The role is typically a hybrid of a data architect, a data analyst and a master data technical specialist with experience in implementation of Master Data Management solutions across various data domains and industry sectors.
About the role
We are in the final phase of Requirement Analysis and Solution Design work for a Customer for their Master Data Management workstream. We would need to set up the team for subsequent phases of MDM implementation that involves detailed design, build, test and deploying the technology solution, build and execution of data migration, customer data consolidation and creation of MDM hub.
This is a complex data project involving varied data categories and a vast set of legacy sources and data touchpoints. To add to these complexities, we are custom building the entire master data components within the MDM solution instead of typical off the shelf MDM implementation. This would mean, the team that we put forward should consist of very good technical specialists and Master Data Technical Specialists.
To achieve these project demands, we would need a Master Data Technical specialist as part of our implementation team. The resource we are looking for should have a strong Master Data implementation background, having worked on various aspects of data management (such as data validation & transformation, customer data matching, survivorship, change data capture, business rules definition and design for master data entities/attributes etc. and possesses extensive hands on experience of dealing with complex data implementation scenarios. In addition to these strong master data and data management skill sets, he would need to be able to interact/coordinate with Design & Technology stakeholders within the client team to resolve the data queries.

As part of a market leading TDA team, you’ll be helping new and existing clients deliver technology and data solutions to streamline their data management processes, design and implement master data management solutions.
- Demonstrate extensive skills and success in the implementation of Master Data Management technology projects within a professional environment
- Experienced in delivering Medium to Big Enterprise Master Data Management Projects across various data domains (Customer, Product, Supplier etc.) and across industry sectors.
- Proven experience in data architecture, data migration and developing business and data validation rules.
- Hands on experience in conducting detailed data analysis, defining conceptual/logical data models for master data and developing business/technical data dictionaries.
Good to have skills:
- A good understanding various MDM technologies and desire to develop your skills in these areas of emerging technology.
- Experience in Agile Methodologies and defining the Technical User Stories
- A good understanding of Cloud platform fundamentals (GCP, Azure or AWS)
Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or similar quantitative discipline
