About the role
As a member of the new Duty Team, working closely with the Head of UK Duty and External officers from HMRC providing Assurance and Compliance for all Diageo UK locations and HMRC.
You will be responsible to provide expert knowledge and solutions for all UK locations in all areas of Customs & Excise to protect Diageo’s reputation and drive the strategic goals for our “Destination “
The complexity involved in this role, will support compliance of Beers, Wines & Spirits production as well as external distribution centres across the UK.
You will work closely with all the finished product warehouses in the UK to ensure timely and accurate reporting and payment of Diageo’s ongoing UK duty liabilities.
To be successful in role you will ideally have experience in Importation / Exportation or Shipping would be preferred.
It would be great if you have sound knowledge of HMRC Legislation and experience in dealing with HMRC officers.
Ideally you will have knowledge of HMRC duty reporting requirements and some knowledge of UK VAT reporting requirements.
