Role: Marketing Executive - Maternity Cover - Farmplan (based in Ross on Wye. Currently working remotely)

Part-time (4 days/28 hours per week), approximately 12-month contract

Our job in the Farmplan (part of Proagrica) marketing team is to demonstrate how our products and services help our customers feed and fuel the population. We approach marketing in a way that puts the customer at the heart of what we do. We help inform customers and partners about the benefits of our market-leading products, our values and our approach to a sustainable future in agriculture.

We are a friendly and expanding team at the centre of Proagrica. To succeed here, you'll need to be able to combine creativity with the organisational skills to manage numerous different projects to tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy working with sales teams, editorial and senior stakeholders. You will need to be an enthusiastic team player, you will be expected to work hard, push the boundaries, and take responsibility to delight our customers.

The responsibilities of the Marketing Executive include:

* ownership and execution of the events plan and budget. With Covid-19 restrictions, it is more important than ever to bring a creative flair to this element of the role in order to offer an "online" alternative to our customer base and continue to drive leads through this channel

* ownership and execution of the social strategy, both paid and organic. Develop these channels to maximise lead generation opportunities and engagement

* management and ownership of the full campaign process, from end to end. Creating, testing, deploying and reviewing marketing campaigns. It is essential that you gain an understanding of the brand, customers and products to deliver maximum ROI

* collaborate with Product, Support and Sales teams to create, launch and track performance of product and service offerings in our markets

* manage and update the content calendar, ensuring all content is utilised across channels and available to the wider team

* stay abreast of marketing and industry trends to drive topics for webinars and campaigns

* develop and create sales-ready tools, including product brochures and sales templates. Ensure the media suite is accessible to all members of the business

* analysis and reporting - tracking all marketing campaigns to evaluate ROI, to optimise and form future plans

* identify and test new and innovative opportunities to support the business strategy and to complement current marketing activity

* ensure brand consistency across all activity

If you're right for this role, you will:

* have a degree or equivalent

* be an energetic and intuitive marketing specialist with exceptional communication skills and a can-do attitude

* demonstrate fine attention to detail - design conscious with a creative flair

* have excellent time management with the ability to prioritise

* be commercially astute marketing professional with the ability to demonstrate structured analysis, reporting and ROI on marketing activity

* enjoy working with a results-driven team and bring new ideas to help the team achieve their goals

* be inquisitive and proactive - showing an appetite to question current processes and look for new opportunities whilst learning and developing new skills

* enjoy success, but not be afraid to fail and learn from it

* be comfortable working daily with different teams, liaising with teams in different locations and be flexible to visit other offices when required

Skills supporting the role:

* experience in integrated marketing campaign management

* a background in B2B marketing

* our ideal candidate will want to own the role, define the funnel strategy, be extremely well organised, a good communicator, comfortable with technology and skilled in marketing
