A long standing client of ours based in Harlow is seeking at Part Time Credit Controller to join their team. This is a 6-month contract working 25 hours a week & paying a pro-rated salary of ??24,000 (??16.50 per hour on a 25 hour week).
With position will be reporting into the businesses CFO and the purpose of the role is to minimise bad debt and improve the cash flow of the business.
Knowledge required to be considered for this Part Time Credit Controller role:
Apply appropriate credit control procedures.
Ensure accuracy of sales ledger.
Monitor credit notes.
Issuing of Debtor reports
Key Attributes & Skills needed to be considered:
Attention to detail.
Strong IT skills.
Basic bookkeeping skills.
Key Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Monitor and update Customer credit limits and account status.
Chase up outstanding customer payments and take any action necessary. Ensure amounts outstanding are collected as promptly as possible.
Ensure accuracy of aged debtors listings and issue to sales departments on a regular basis.
Produce ageing schedules on a monthly basis.
Print and distribute customer statements on a monthly basis.
Monitor the issuing of credit notes.
Produce and issue monthly report of credit notes.
Review and verify the accuracy of Customer File data.
