Training and Qualifications Coordinator

18.75 hours per week (may increase on an ad-hoc basis)

Home Based - must be able to travel to Dewsbury Head Office when required

We are exclusively partnering with our client in Dewsbury who are looking for an experienced Training and Qualifications Coordinator to join their training department.

This is a part-time position offering 18.75 hours per week and is paying ??26,050 FTE. You will be home-based for the foreseeable, but must be able to travel to the Dewsbury Head Office when required.

This role is to co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the training department. The organisation offers a range of specialist and soft-skills based training and qualifications.

You will be working with the HR team and senior management to identify training needs within the organisation and plan the training programme on a 6-monthly basis. You will also deliver training to internal and external audiences, both virtually and in-person.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and review policies for the training department.
Ensure the training department is best placed to complete the annual audit to a high standard.
Develop, implement and review feedback and learner experience mechanisms.
Develop and implement a 6 monthly training programme.
Conduct an annual training needs analysis.
To directly deliver training as needed.
To keep abreast of and review new ways of delivering training or assessing qualifications e.g. e-portfolio systems, training videos etc.
Work with peers to produce concise, clear course descriptions for advertising purposes.
Work with peers to produce SMART action plans.
Work with peers to produce progress and update reports for Directors on an agreed frequency.
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Take responsibility for your own learning and development, keeping up to date with changes in advocacy practice and legislation.
Work in line with the organisation's values, policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Must have experience of working in a similar Training Coordinator role.
Strong L&D experience.
Experience of delivering training is highly desirable.
Assessor/L&D qualifications are highly desirable.
Healthcare/Charitable background is desirable.
