GSK have a unique opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join our HR Separation Team for a Fixed Term assignment until June 2022.

As the HR Manager for Consumer Separation you will report to the CH GSF Transformation Planning Lead. Here you will advise, lead and deliver HR & Business critical transformational support to Finance Separation planning initially supporting the Consumer business. You will work with the Finance Separation Lead and the Finance HR Team to provide advice, coaching, and hands on support to drive coordinate and standardized execution to enable programme level tracking of KPIs/Synergies.

Key Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • You will deliver the Separation Project for Finance including workforce restructuring (including outsourcing, in sourcing and off shoring) in line with the Consumer Bio Pharma agenda defined by the HR Business Lead to support the business strategy.
  • Support programme on reporting tracking of and reporting milestones of on-going A&S and exits to enable appropriate synergy reporting for the programme
  • Support other programme wide initiatives impacting people
  • Support managers in the delivery of key standardized HR activities and coaching and development of line managers around HR policies, processes and ways of working.
  • Understand the HR Risk environment, identify and mitigate potential HR risks and support managers to create a positive employee environment.
  • Enable resolution of complex HR queries from managers and employees
  • You will drive standardisation and improvement across and within Finance in order to standardize, simplify and continuously improve HR service delivery and promote principles of driving work to the appropriate level (including self-service) in the evolving HR organization
  • As aligned with in country scope and in context of the current employment environment, resolve ER/IR issues and implement strategies to reduce such issues and enhance performance.
  • Support other programme wide initiatives impacting people in CH & Bio Pharma business (i.e. rebadging, LE changes, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Someone who demonstrates learning agility, able to deal with ambiguity and influence stakeholders
  • Demonstrates a good track record of partnering directly with senior HR & business leaders; translating business and HR objectives into high quality HR solutions.
  • Experience in resolving complex HR queries from managers and employees
  • Ability to deliver against demanding projects or initiatives and meeting criteria of time, cost, quality, risk assessment, and performance.
  • You will have experience working with multi-country HR teams
  • Exposure to working in a highly complex organization with a matrix structure and with multiple lines of authority leveraging influence within a complex network of stakeholders.
  • You will have in-depth experience within a field of HR, e.g. ER, IR, compensation and benefits, talent management, HR operational implementation systems and processes, organisational development or design.
  • Excellent leadership capability to manage people and processes
  • Innovative thinking to drive changes and process improvements
  • Matrix management and global management skills
  • Ability to work in a complex and multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent business acumen, analytical, and financial skills
